To Empower Special Needs Children

We believe that everyone should be encouraged to pursue their passion or strength in life, no matter what their perceived obstacles.

All too often parents are told that their special child will never do this and never do that. If a child has the cognitive ability and exhibits a strength or passion in something, why not nurture that strength and guide them in using it. As parents or caregivers we can be observant and take note when we see this. Our unique children will need extra nurturing and guidance with helping their strength to blossom, but, it can be done. Yes, it may turn out to be a passing fad, but why not take the time to explore it. We know our children best and should not subscribe 100% to what others tell us their future holds.

In this day and age one can make money doing just about anything. As our children get older we could choose to guide them in cultivating a way to use their strengths and financially support themselves. This is not a cookie cutter world and it’s okay for our children to use their uniqueness to propel them forward.

Where does Pink Elephant Style fit into this? Lillian is passionate about reading, drawing, writing short stories and taking pictures. Through our Pink Elephant Style shop we sell her artwork, photography and quotes on T shirts and other accessories to showcase her unique view of life.
